This facility was once a runaway shelter for children in Nueces County and is currently being used as a Center for Accelerated Learning. This center's program is designed to accomodate High School students in Credit Recovery status. These students work individually on credits needed for graduation. It is also used as a tutorial facility for students needing to pass TAKS testing.

This year, we have added two PreKindergarten classrooms and plans are in the works for one more. We are now accepting applications for PreKindergarten students (Children from 3-4 are eligible to apply).
