The Gulf Coast Council of La Raza, Inc. has 3 charter campuses in the district:
- Garza Gonzalez Charter School - is the main campus and houses the administration of the Gulf Coast Council of La Raza. It also contains: a high school class; middle school; and PreK and Kindergarten components.
- GCCLR Institute of Technology - is located at 2203 Baldwin and is also known as the Baldwin campus. Currently, it contains GED classes and plans have been drawn up for it to become the GCCLR Community Learning Center.
- Accelerated Learning Center - is located at 721 Omaha St. and currently contains two PreKindergarten units. It will eventually contain up to 4 PreKindergarten classrooms. In past years, it has been used as the primary campus for Credit Recovery students.
- The main campus (Garza Gonzalez Charter School - Greenwood) has just been renovated with a state of the art technology infrastructure in 2005. The Accelerated Learning Center is currently be renovated and the GCCLR Institute of Technology is scheduled for renovation later this year. These renovations were made possible with funding through E-rate and the Universal Service Fund. Some of the renovations include: DNS and DHCP Servers, Web Server, Routers/Gateways, Cat6 wiring, fiber optic wiring, Cisco switches, Cisco IP Phone system with Unity, and a Call Manager, T-1 and GIGAMAN connections.
- These renovations assist our district in being one of the most innovative and technologically up-to-date charter schools in the region.
